This 24-hour live online course introduces children aged 6–12 to the fundamentals of keyboard playing. Through step-by-step lessons, students learn proper finger posture, play simple songs with both hands, and explore musical concepts like rhythm, staff notation, and dynamics. Each session includes engaging activities, play-alongs, and group interaction to make learning fun and effective. The course culminates in a live recital and personalized certificate—perfect for beginners developing musical talent.

What You’ll Learn:

Introduction to the Keyboard (3 hours)

  • Parts of the keyboard, hand posture, finger numbers

  • Musical alphabet (A–G) and identifying middle C

  • Rhythm basics: whole, half, and quarter notes

  • Clap-and-play exercises

Playing Simple Tunes (6 hours)

  • Right-hand melodies: C-D-E-F-G songs like “Hot Cross Buns” and “Ode to Joy”

  • Left-hand basics and simple 5-finger patterns

  • Coordinating both hands with “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star”

  • Play-along with backing tracks and group mini-performance

Music Reading & Theory (6 hours)

  • Reading treble and bass clefs (EGBDF, FACE / GBDFA, ACEG)

  • Time signatures (4/4, 3/4), rests, and note values

  • Dynamics (forte, piano), articulation (legato, staccato)

  • Compose your own 4-bar melody and perform it

Building Repertoire (6 hours)

  • Popular beginner songs: “Row, Row, Row Your Boat,” “London Bridge”

  • Exploring broken and block chords in the left hand

  • Duets and ensemble practice with teacher/backing

  • Playing with expression and mood
