This beginner-level violin course introduces students to the basics of Western classical violin through a carefully guided 12 week program. Using beginner-friendly methods such as Suzuki Book 1 and Essential Elements, students will learn correct posture, bowing, finger placement, rhythm reading, and simple melodies across the D and A strings.
With a balance of technique and musical fun, students gradually progress from open strings to two-string playing, scales, and beginner-level songs like Twinkle Twinkle, Ode to Joy, and Mary Had a Little Lamb. The course ends with a mini-recital to showcase each learner’s growth and musical confidence.
